Most raises complete and your commitment converts into tokens. In a few situations your funds come back to you instead — always as a claim you make, not an automatic transfer.
You claim it back
In a public stage, the founder doesn't select you at all, or allocates you less than you committed — whatever wasn't allocated comes back.
A public stage doesn't reach its minimum, so it doesn't proceed and everyone is refunded.
The same applies on the founder side: monthly allowance releases aren't distributed automatically either — the founder claims each month's allowance rather than having it sent to them.
